It’s time for a coffee date!
Go and make yourself some coffee (or tea!) and then come back and join me for a little chat! 🙂
This morning I’m drinking a cup of Folgers Coffee. Nothing too exciting… or as good as the Tall in a Grande Pike with 2 cream I usually get at Starbucks, but it’s better than no coffee at all! And, this morning, I need coffee!
Yesterday afternoon I did a fun finger painting art project with Kallie and my daycare kids. They all loved getting their hands messy and, of course, playing in the paint. When I do finger painting with 2 or more kids I only let one person paint at a time. Otherwise I think I would have a lot chaos and paint everywhere! I prefer organized chaos! 🙂
I’ll post the pictures of the paintings later this week!
I can’t believe that one month from today Kallie will be 2 years old! I still have yet to start party planning… but I do have a vision. I just have to put it into action!
Today my morning will look a little bit like this: folding laundry, vacuuming and mopping the floors, and (hopefully) going through some boxes of clothing someone gave me for Bronson (thank you!). We’ll see if I actually get all that done or not!
Last week in my coffee post I mentioned that Jon and I were hoping to go out on a date night over the weekend. We spent the day with Kallie and Bronson and then went out on a movie date. You can read about our Saturday HERE if you haven’t yet.
|My husband got stuck on the highway last week because of a lot of accidents due to a snow storm. The weather doesn’t look that bad here but the roads were very icy. The weather only got worse as the day progressed.|
What’s a coffee date if we don’t mention the weather? Which, by the way, I’m so sick of the weather this winter! Where I live in Ontario, Canada the weather has been up, down, up, down. One day it’s mild and pouring rain, the next day it’s a snow storm with bitter cold temperatures and then next day it’s mild again and everything is melting. I wish the weather would make up it’s mind because my back yard has continually been a mud pit and Kallie and the daycare kids have had to stay inside. At least when it’s “real” winter weather with snow on the ground the kids can go outside and burn off some energy! I found a spring countdown and there’s only 53 more days to go! 🙂
Thanks for joining me for coffee this morning!
I enjoyed it!
I hope that you’re having a GREAT week so far! 🙂
